The great emperors who built the Taj also established a highly distinctive carpet style that made use of the motifs and decorative art found in the palaces and monuments of the period. With great success, Azhar has turned to descendants of these superb crafts people to replicate these elegant carpets, many of which are today found in museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
